Welcome!  And thank for visiting my blog!  This being my very first blog post, I thought I would tell you all a little a bit about who I am.  First off, in case my blog name didn't give it away, I am a Realtor in the beautiful sunshine state!

I moved to Cape Coral Florida from Rhode Island in 1997.  However, my move here was a trick!  It started in summer after my sophomore year of high school. My folks decided it would be great to spend the summer in Florida.  I was excited!  What teenager wouldn't be thrilled to spend long summer days on the beach or laying by the pool without a care in the world?!  As summer was coming to end, I was eager to get home and tell my friends about what a great relaxing summer I had.  And then it happened.  My folks bought a house. In Florida.  I was devastated, hated it, didn't want any part of this "Florida lifestyle".  But after a few weeks in my new school and meeting some really awesome friends, I fell in love with Florida.

Now, I couldn't imagine anywhere else I would rather live...well maybe on a remote tropical Island, but I'm still working on that plan!  I married my amazing and wonderful husband in June of 2012, and have 2 fantastic step sons.  We love to travel, and spend time out on the water when we can.  We recently started kayaking and bike riding, we love to be outdoors as often as we can be.

Lately, traveling has not been as frequently as we would like, home renovations and projects have taken priority.  I LOVE home projects and renovations.  I am happy to dig in and do the work that I'm able to do myself, so I will be sharing some projects from the past with you, and Ill keep you current on any new ones!  I will also be sharing information on our local real estate market, cooking tips and recipes and product reviews and money saving opportunities!
